Beautiful Girl

Emilie got this pretty dress for her birthday from her aunt Leslie and the sweater from her grandparents. She wore it to church today she looked beautiful. She even wore Elizabeth's matching headband and she didn't take it off after 1 minute (like she normally does).

The Party

The party consisted of pizza, cake, presents and grandpa. It was all that she wanted.

As you can see she LOVES Rapunzel.

Janessa came by earlier in the week (before leaving for BYU) and gave her a Rapunzel movie.

First Day of Kindergarten

Oh he was so ready. At 8:30 he was ready to head out the door. Here are the yearly first day of school pictures.

He tried to sign a "K" for Kindergarten.

Of course Emilie wanted to have her picture taken also. She also insisted on wearing her backpack to school.

Missionary Mail

Our nephew and cousin Andrew is serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Indonesia. He has been gone for about 1 year now. He was so sweet to take the time and write a personal letter to each of his cousins and aunts and uncles.

The kids loved reading his letters.

Bruce got his phone out to translate the some of the things Andrew wrote in Indonesian.

August Birthday Celebration

We celebrated the August birthday's for the James Family. The birthday boy and girls were, Daniel, Janessa and Emilie.

Most of the time I aime the camera at Emilie she makes some sort of a silly face.

Did I mention the silly faces ;)?

"Orthodontist" swim party

The orthodontist's office had rented the swimming pool and had invited all patients and their families to come. The kids had a blast. Swimming, snow cones, cotton candy, games, prizes and much more fun.

Thomas' Kindergarten Assessment

Thomas met his Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Richey today. He quite excited especially since she was Elizabeth's teacher three years ago. He did very well on his assessment and is definitely ready to start in a week.
