Soccer

Elizabeth had her first soccer practice last week. She loved it. We went out on Tuesday to buy her some soccer cleats and shin guards and she had been wearing them ever since around the house.

After the practice she received her shirt, shorts and socks. As soon as we got home she wanted to try them on and play some more soccer in the backyard.

Showing her number 2 on the back.

Cute little Monkeys

Elizabeth has discovered the joys of climbing trees. She loves it. Most of all she loves hanging upside down.

Her friend Abby decided to join in the fun.

Snow Fun

My brother Jeroen came to visit us for a week and a half so we decided to do some fun stuff. We went tubing at Soldier Hollow in Midway. We had such a good time.

Thomas was not able to go on the tube lift since he is not three yet (next month). He loved going down the little kids run but he quickly got pretty upset that he couldn't take the lift up. Poor boy! He really felt left out.

Going up on the tube lift.

We will definitely be back. Most likely next month for Thomas' birthday so he can take part in the fun.

We sure love this boy...

He makes us smile all the time and has such a fun personality.

Helping me make apple sauce.

Hiding in the laundry.

Dressed up like a monkey for Halloween with his "banana sister".

He did not enjoy sticking his hand in the pumpkin and has a face to show it.

He is a wonderful big brother and really likes Emilie.

I couldn't resist posting these "pudding pictures". Especially the last one.

And just a little side note. His pacifier is history. It was a rough few days at first but he is doing better. When asked what happened to them he says: "My mommy throw them in garbage truck" (in a quite accusatory way with a pointing finger towards me). Don't tell him that they are really still in the house ;). Elizabeth likes to tell people that in reality they are hidden behind a clock in the family room. Haha

Emilie's Blessing

We blessed Emilie on October 17th.

It feels like it is kind of impossible right now (with the ages of the children) to take a nice family picture. We took tons of pictures and as you can see above they turned out quite funny. It will be a fun memory for later.
