October/November Pics

I'm trying to catch up a little on my blog. So I decided to just post lots of pics with a few descriptions. This is not going to be in order.

The end of November Bruce and I took a little trip to NYC to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. It was great to spent some quality time together. We had lots of yummy food and enjoyed each others company.

I couldn't resist visiting the fabric district and just feeling like a child in a candy store.

Thomas loves BYU!
Bruce decided to teach the kids some of the football basics. They had a blast.

Celebrating Thanksgiving at Babs and Gramps (as Thomas calls them).

Going Ice skating.

November was a great month en December will even be better. Stay tuned.

Lots of Halloween stuff

Making Halloween Cookies

I finally downloaded the Halloween pictures. I have had some laptop issues and that is why it has taen me so long. The pictures are just randomly put in and I don't have the patience to organize them, so enjoy!

Elizabeth decided to paint her pumpkin this year. We loved it because neither Bruce nor I enjoy carving pumpkins.

Thomas had some easy stick in decorations.
Our outdoor Halloween decorations. We made little ghosts out of paper towels and hung them in the tree in the front yard.
We made some paper bats adn hung them in some spider webs.
Some were sitting on the pumpkins.

Emilie loved her lollipop. One happy little girl "bunny"

Thomas' School Halloween Celebration

Thomas attends a speech class each week. It is done at a local elementary school. It is a great program. There are a total of 6 children in his class who all attend with one of their parents. They sing, play games, do craft activities that aid in different small motor skills and have their individual speech time.

This is Elmo (aka Thomas) having his individual speech time with Mrs. Stephanie. He gets weekly homework and really enjoys practicing.

They have fun little toys and games that they are allowed to do after practicing to give them an incentive to participate.

This week they made a little trick or treating bag. The children are encouraged to do all the cutting, glueing and coloring themselves to increase their self esteem but also to prepare them for Kindergarten (which is still a ways out for us).

Here is Thomas with his teachers.
He did some trick or treating in his class (all the parents brought candy) and got lots of yummy stuff.

Something is missing...

Elizabeth finally lost her first tooth in October. She was so excited. By the way don't you love the hair? They had crazy hair day at school that day.

First snow of the year

Thomas was so excited. Within no time he was wearing a winter coat and his rain boats with shorts. It was a lovely sight. He ran outside and tried to catch the snow with his tongue. This was the first week of October.

Crazy climbing girl

This girl keeps me on my toes. She loves to climb. The pictures will tell the story. She has fallen many a times and she always has some sort of bruise or scratch on her face.

She loves to climb the stairs (on both sides) and can go up and down by herself. I am still very nervous having her do it by herself so our ottoman has become a permanent fixture at the bottom of the stairs to prevent her from going up.

She loves to bounce in her bouncy chair in a standing position (aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh). Not a good idea.

Climbing and standing on tricycles and bikes.

On other play equipment.

And climbing on the couches.

As you can see my life is NEVER boring with this little on around.
