Aruba - part 2

Ready to go to the pool!

Klaar om naar het zwembad te gaan!

Elizabeth and Thomas just loved the water.

Elizabeth and Thomas vonden het heerlijk om in the water te spelen.

The Iguanas loved to be around the pool area. We saw them everywhere. Some of them were tiny but some of them were huge (at least 2 feet long). The hotel employees would chase them and bring them back to the beach area but they were back in no time.

De leguanen waren constant bij het zwembad. We zagen ze overal. Sommigen waren heel klein maar anderen waren heel groot (minstens 50 cm lang). De hotel renden constant achter ze aan om ze te pakken en dan terug naar het stand te brengen, maar ze waren al snel weer terug.



Guess who loved to play in the sand. I mean LOVED!!!!!! She had so much fun. We are still working on convincing Bruce to get a sandbox and I think we are getting closer to getting one.
She also loved playing in the ocean except for the time she got some water in her mouth and realized it was very salt. She kept spitting for several minutes to try to get the salty taste out of her mouth. It was pretty funny. I didn't keep her out of the ocean though she just quickly learned to keep her mouth closed.

Elizabeth kon wel uren op het strand te spelen. Ze had er erg veel plezier in. We proberen Bruce nog steeds te overtuigen om een zandbak te kopen voor de achtertuin. Ze vond het ook heel leuk om in the zee te zwemmen behalve die ene keer dat ze water in haar mond kreeg en zich realiseerde dat het zout was. Ze bleef het maar proberen uit te spugen. Het was een erg grappig gezicht. Het weerhield haar er niet van om weer de zee in te gaan maar ze wist nu wel dat ze haar mond dicht moest houden.

The sunsets were beautiful.
De zonsondergang was heel mooi.
